How Much Does SEO Cost in Orlando? (2026 Pricing Guide)

Most Orlando small businesses pay between $500 and $3,000 a month for SEO, and one-time website builds run from roughly $500 to $2,000. That is a wide range, and the spread is the whole story. Two agencies can quote you $600 and $2,600 for what sounds like the same thing, and both quotes can be honest.

This guide breaks down what each price band actually buys in the Orlando market, why the numbers move so much, and the specific questions that expose a quote built on nothing.

The short answer

  • $300 to $600 per month — a single Google Business Profile managed properly, or light on-page work. Realistic for one location in a low-competition trade.
  • $800 to $1,500 per month — profile management plus ongoing website content and link building. This is where most Orlando service businesses land.
  • $2,000 to $3,500 per month — multi-location or genuinely competitive niches: personal injury, HVAC, roofing, dental, med spa.
  • $500 to $2,000 one-time — a website build, depending on page count and whether the agency writes the copy and shoots the photos.

For reference, our own pricing sits inside those bands on purpose: $497 per month per Google Business Profile, $1,497 for a profile and a fully optimized website together, and $2,500 per month for a six-location program. Websites on their own are $497, $997, or $1,997 depending on how much we produce for you. Hosting and security is $150 per month on anything we build and host.

Why the range is so wide

SEO pricing is not like buying a part. You are buying hours, and the hours scale with three things.

1. How many people are already fighting for the spot

Ranking a mobile notary in Winter Garden and ranking a personal injury firm in downtown Orlando are not the same job. In the second case, your competitors have been building links for a decade and spending five figures a month. Beating them costs what beating them costs.

2. How much is already built

If you have a fast site with real service pages and a verified Google Business Profile, an agency starts from a running position. If your site is a five-year-old template with one page and your profile has eleven reviews and the wrong category, the first three months are construction, not optimization. That construction is real work and it gets billed.

3. Whether content is included

This is the single biggest hidden variable in Orlando quotes. A $600 plan that says content is included often means one 400-word blog post. A $1,500 plan might include four pages of real service copy, photography, and video. Ask exactly how many pieces, how long, and who writes them.

What you should get at each price

Under $500 a month

  • One Google Business Profile fully built out — categories, services, products, service areas, attributes
  • Weekly posts and fresh geo-tagged photos
  • Review requests going out to your existing customers, and every review answered
  • Basic citation cleanup so your name, address, and phone match everywhere
  • A monthly report you can actually read

At this level you should not expect aggressive link building or new website pages every month. If someone promises both at this price, the work is either automated or not happening.

$800 to $1,500 a month

  • Everything above, plus new service and city pages written for you
  • Real backlink acquisition with a report listing every live URL
  • Technical fixes — speed, schema, internal linking, indexation
  • Conversion tracking so you can see calls and form fills, not just rankings

$2,000 and up

Multiple locations, multiple profiles, digital PR, and a strategist who knows your numbers. At this price you should be having a monthly call with a human who can explain what moved and why.

Five questions that expose a weak quote

  • How many hours a month is this? Vague answers here usually mean the work is outsourced by the task.
  • Can I see the last three link reports you sent a client? Live URLs or it did not happen.
  • Who writes the content? If the answer is unclear, assume AI with no editing.
  • What happens to the website if I leave? You should own the domain, the hosting account, and the site.
  • What are you going to do in month one? A real agency has a specific answer. A bad one talks about strategy.

The guarantee question

If an Orlando agency guarantees you the number one spot, walk. Google prohibits it and no one controls the algorithm. What a good agency can commit to is the work: how many pages, how many links, how many posts, and a report proving it happened. Commitments to output are fair. Commitments to a ranking position are not.

So what should you actually spend?

Work backwards from a customer. If your average job is worth $1,200 and you close one in three leads, three extra leads a month pays for a $1,200 plan and leaves you ahead. If your average job is worth $180, the math is different and you should start with the Google Business Profile only and grow into the rest.

That is the honest test. Not what the agency wants to charge, but what one more customer a month is worth to you.
